Airline Pilot Program

If you are seeking a job as an airline pilot, Canadian Flight Centre is THE place to go. CFC offers a 3-year Airline Pilot Diploma program for students of all backgrounds. We guide you through everything you need to know as you start your airline career.

If you chose this elite path, you will still do the PPL, CPL and IFR ground school with other students. However, your flying is more intense and demanding. You are held to a higher standard through mentoring and periodic Performance Evaluations. You are expected to finish your licenses and ratings, including instructor rating, within a total of 15 months. After that, you will practice your instructor skills under the close supervision of your mentor/supervisor in different areas: Ground school, PPL instructor, CPL instructor, later IFR and multi-engine instructor. In parallel, you can select from your areas of interest, for example, receive training as a charter pilot, and work in charter and air taxi operations (both as single pilot as well as in two-crew environment). Approximately 30 months after starting your training, with about 1,000 hours, you will write the Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) exams SARON and SAMRA, do your final flight test, and 36 months from now you can be ready to go for your airline job!

Some conditions of the Program are:

Full-time training, 5-6 days/week
Subject to successful passing of Transport Canada examinations, CFC internal regular performance assessments and regular attendance
LIMITED AVAILABILITY

But the ATPL is not all you obtain with this program! The list of mandatory training above earns you only 2600 out of the required 3000 credits for the Airline Pilot Diploma. The remaining credits are earned by choosing 4 out of almost 20 elective courses and options, examples of which include:

Turbine and King Air Training

Program Admission, Cost, Information

Admission Requirements:

17 years old or older. English language proficiency.

Duration:

36 months full time

Locations:

All CFC locations. Usually mix of several locations throughout different phases of training.

All prices are in CAD. The Program cost estimate consists of CFC delivered component and Partners’ delivered component. CFC delivered component tuition is as follows:
