Is Canadian Flight Centre the right school for me?
To be clear from the beginning: CFC may NOT be the right school for You!
We had over the years “mismatches” where the student’s and the school’s expectations were so far apart that it led to frustrations on both sides.
Students that came and were not as interested in flight training as in “Vancouver Lifestyle”, students that took their tuition money and bought a sports car after watching TOPGUN, students that were never seen at the school because they found a job and neglected their flight training … We eventually had to part ways – something we want to avoid at all cost!
At CFC we focus laser-sharp on the flight training that we promised you – and we expect you to do the same! Unless otherwise agreed, we treat every student as a full-time student and provide the planes and instructors for you to fly – ideally every day!
We try to make our school attractive enough for students to WANT to be there every day.
If you are not serious about becoming the best pilot you can be and committing yourself full-time to your career training, we may need to talk about your intentions before we can accept you into our programs.
However, if flying is your passion and your goal in life – we can get you there:
- With an aircraft fleet large enough for you to fly every day,
- with a variety of aircraft types that you will become proficient with,
- with training in both uncontrolled and highly controlled airspaces,
- flying in the mountains and over the ocean,
- in weather conditions from cold arctic temperatures to desert climates,
And it’s ok if you are looking for a job while you train, a work permit after graduation, even Canadian citizenship – we will actually help you with all of that – as long as your flight training is your #1 priority!
