I came down from the Northwest Territories with a mission in mind to get my Multi IFR rating. I walked in the front door of Canadian Flight Center to a warm welcome and a tour of the facility's including the DCX MAX flight simulator and their large fleet of aircraft. I expressed to them that I had a short window to do the training in, they were ready to start the next day. I went and wrote my INRAT exam after a couple days of study and then began the multi training. After 3 days of training I took my multi flight test with the in house examiner and passed. I immediately began the IFR portion of it. Alot of sim time with a good mix of aircraft time. We took a long cross country trip to Kamloops and back, that was a nice break from the cluster of Vancouver airspace. The weather cooperated for the most part with only 2 days non flyable. After at total of 15 days from my first multi engine flight to my multi IFR flight test I was done. This was all at my pace and my instructor was very supportive and went the extra mile to insure I was not only learning but understanding the material. I would highly recommend anyone looking for any level of flight training to go try Canadian Flight Center. Thanks to Anna, Peter and Ken for a great experience.

I am a part-time instructor at another local flight school, and I enjoy where I work. Though I have been flying for over fifteen years, I was never able to find the time to finish my Group 1 Instrument Rating because of my other employment obligations. I had begun to chip away at my MIFR project slowly at the school where I currently instruct. However, due to the unfortunate impact of Covid-19, most Flight Training Units – including where I currently work - closed for dual flying, effectively putting my plan to finish my MIFR on hold once again. It came to my attention that Canadian Flight Centre had been able to put strict sanitation and social-distancing protocols in place quickly, thereby allowing them to continue with dual flights while other schools had been shuttered. I am very fortunate to have a supportive Management Team at the FTU where I work. They recognized my need to avoid losing momentum and finish this project efficiently, and with their support, I went to CFC at CYPK to get my training finished. Where one door closes, another opens – and I am thrilled that the door that opened was at CFC.

I trained on the Seneca 5 in CFC. Its an excellent aircraft, and the state-of-the-art instrument panels were very impressive. But what made the training experience truly memorable was my instructor, Anna. Smart, vivacious and supremely confident as a pilot, Anna ensured the perfect blend of thrill and discipline. And of course to score a ride in the Sky Dancer, Anna's uber-cool aerobatic aircraft, is one of the most amazing experiences ever! I even got to attend one of her airshows! 

The staff at CFC were friendly and ever helpful. Special regards to my examiner Peter. Overall a wonderful experience. Be it a joyride, recreational or professional training, I'd recommend an experience at cfc for anyone interested in flying.

I've been flying with CFC for 15 years, and hope to continue doing so for many more. The beautiful, well-maintained aircraft fleet initially caught my eye, but the excellent instructors and professional staff are why I keep coming back. The owner, Peter, is a true gentleman and a joy to fly with, and Anna, the aerobatics instructor, took me for an inverted-looping-and-rolling flight that still makes me grin to think about!

Many thanks to all from my side, I really enjoyed time at CFC, the friendly service, the professional training and the warm and friendly atmosphere. I felt not as a customer, my feeling was more being a part of a nice family.

I decided to do my PPL when Peter showed me around. He was so convincing, professional and passionate. He made a lot possible and always tried to be as efficient as possible. My flight instructor was Alexander Boruck, who is a young passionate, motivated, professional and very friendly guy. I can really recommend him. The other instructors left a good impression on me too.
I was able to start with the training right away. Alexander was very flexible on the times and almost always available.
CFC has a great fleet with a lot of different airplanes, compared to the other schools around.
All in all I was very happy

High School Work Experience with Canadian Flight Centre

I’ve had many opportunities working in aviation jobs, but none can compare to working at the Canadian Flight Centre. I’ve made many new friends and has many unforgettable experiences working with them.

(bought an aerobatic flight for his dad who is about to retire) My family watched the video when we got back home the other day. You were amazing! The flight looked like it was so much fun! He was smiling like a little kid. He's still talking about it today lol.

I'm still on a huge "high" after my mini "aerobatic" flight with you today.

You don't know how much of a role you have played in assisting me to get over a life long fear.

I feel so good having conquered the fear of spinning.. I am a  little sorry that I didn't take up your offer to try and pull out of a full spin myself. However, I have taken huge strides. At least now I know what to expect so I'm 90% of the way there.

So my heartfelt thx to you Anna and I look forward to seeing you at B.Bay in the next week or so to sign up for my PPL lessons.

Svetlana Kapanina is an excellent pilot. On Canada'a West Coast, ANNA SERBINENKO trains future private, mountain, and aerobatic pilots in British Columbia, Canada. If you are looking for the best instruction in these abilities, Anna is by far your best choice.

Flying in Vancouver, you are able to combine (1) aerobatics (2) mountain flying (3) sightseeing all into one flight (1.4hrs). Learned loop, wingover, barrel roll and hammerhead from air show performer Anna. Flew over Pitt Lake and through the valleys of Coquitlam Mt. Finally circled around Vancouver downtown and flew over Vancouver Int'l.

On Monday my father-in-law and I had the great pleasure of flying (I was left-seat and actually had the controls for a bit) out of Kamloops as mu very first flying lesson. now I'm not really meant for lessons - I've simply been an aviation nut since I was a little boy.

It was a truly memorable experience from start to finish. Out host and captain - Chirag - was certainly a key part of the fun we had. And I must day, while i love my job (full-time artist) I do have a certain amount of office envy. Well done all around - already making plans for out next trip up! :)

I went to Canadian Flight Center for my Multi Engine and Multi IFR training, and it was one of the most positive experiences in my entire life. The training, knowledge, and passion for flying is ever present with the instructors/staff, and it shows. Anytime I had questions, they were always there for me day and night. The flight instruction I received during my time with Canadian Flight Center was excellent, and they made me feel like one of the family. The aircraft are a joy to fly (the cross country trips were amazing, fun, and the knowledge I received is second to none!) I really enjoyed my time with Anna, and Peter (the owner), they are the best, and definitely made me a better pilot. If you want to train at a highly professional and incredible flight school, then it's a simple choice...Canadian Flight Center. Thanks CFC!!!

ABOUT MY INSTRUCTOR RATING WITH CANADIAN FLIGHT CENTRE (BOUNDARY BAY AIRPORT, CLASS 1: ANNA SERBINENKO): 

SCHOOL/ECOLE: L’ambiance à l’école est très bien. Je ne connais pas vraiment d’élèves là bas, mais je suis toujours avec les instructeurs. Ils sont 5 pour le moment, ils s’entendent tous très bien et on partage de bons moments tous ensemble. Ils ont passé des heures et des heures à m’aider et continuent à le faire pour ma formation et c’est vraiment le plus de l’école en ce qui me concerne pour ma formation. C’est agréable d’avoir des gens qui peuvent te filer des coups de mains dans une bonne ambiance. L’école n’est pas à dominante Canadienne alors en tant qu’expatrié, c’est plutôt cool. Tout le monde connaît tes problématiques. Le directeur de l’école est allemand, Anna est ukrainienne, la dispatch est Australienne et les instructeurs sont chinois, indiens, irakien, jordanien et le dernier vient du Koweit je crois. Pleins de cultures et une grosse influence « européenne » dans les mentalités, c’est vraiment un gros plus je trouve!

Wanted to thank you for your relaxed and friendly approach to the IFR renewal yesterday. You're taking a constructive rather than a judgmental approach (you called it "adding value", instead of just hammering the candidate for his flaws), and at least for personalities such as mine this is much more likely to lead to improvements than a stern judgment of faults. 

For instance, your friendly advice and guidance has already convinced me that I'll go through the Gramin 530 initial check list each time (at least on IMC days), rather than just press OK-OK. 

I hope that many of your school's students will appreciate your friendly and sensible approach focused on preacticalities rather than on rules, and that your business will thrive.

A few years ago I was golfing at Sandpiper and saw that there was a grass runway down one of the fairways. From that day on it was my goal to fly into Sandpiper and play golf. On Friday I flew in with my instructor Anna Serbinenko and had lunch. I guess golf will have to wait for my next trip. Here is the take off.

I just wanted to thank Peter at the Kamloops center for making my son-in-law’s and my 1st flight a great experience. I had contacted the office 2 weeks before and booked July 5th at 4pm for our back to back flights. It turns out our reservation had not been entered into the books. Peter arranged things to “get it done” for us. The 5th was important as it was my birthday (turned 50) and the flight was my birthday present. Both myself and my son-in-law will be continuing with the lessons and look forward to getting back up there. Thanks again Peter for helping to make my 50th a memory I will never forget.

Being from New Zealand I am wanting to convert my license to a Canadian one. I sat with the aerobatics instructor for an hour and a half and came out knowing every detail and process I needed to do to not only convert my license but also how to continue my flight training. Very informative. The best information I have had since being in Canada with regards to this process. It gives me great confidence in continuing my training in Canada with these guys. I went to CFC for my Mult IFR training. The seneca was an amazing plane and all the instructors were awesome. Everyone was friendly and they made sure I had an amazing time there. They got my training done fast where I finished my multi IFR in 2 weeks!

I never could have imagined my recent birthday would include a voucher for an Aerobatic Flight Experience @Canadian Flight Centre, Boundary Bay Airport. The staff at the Flight Centre were very pleasant and helpful while I anxiously waited for my flight - which was right on schedule. Flying with Anna Serbinenko was a truly awesome experience, as she clearly explained where we would be flying, what maneuvers we were about to do, and answered any questions I had. It was amazing to have the opportunity to take control of the aircraft during flight. Anna's enthusiasm for her chosen career in aerobatic flight is infectious, and I am already looking forward to flying with her again.

Got my PPL here back in 2011 and the experience was wonderful. Well maintained aircraft, excellent instructors and friendly, knowledgeable dispatch staff. What a great place to learn to fly! Especially if you like aerobatics, or want to learn! Anna is a fantastic aerobatics pilot and instructor, and is well connected in the aviation community! I had the opportunity to spend a week doing aerobatics training with Anna in July 2014 and it was the most fun I've ever had!!! It is a true art!!!

I started flying with CFC in 2010 my instructors Jamie, Will and Brandon were amazing! Barbara the dispatcher was always willing and eager to help me with any paper work I needed even though I know I was a bit of a pain to deal with at times ;) Jerry I believe is still there and is great as well. The aircraft fleet is more diverse than anywhere else and in better condition than most.
