If you are ready for your airline career, Canadian Flight Centre is THE place to get ready for it. CFC offers a 3 year Airline Pilot Diploma program.

If you chose this elite path, you will still do the PPL, CPL and IFR ground school with other students. However, your flying is more intense and demanding. You are held to a higher standard through mentoring and periodic Performance Evaluations. You are expected to finish your licenses and ratings, including instructor rating, within a total of 15 months. After that, you will practice your instructor skills under the close supervision of your mentor / supervisor in different areas: Ground school, PPL instructor, CPL instructor, later IFR and multi-engine instructor. In parallel, you can select from your areas of interest, for example receive training as a charter pilot, and work in charter and air taxi operations (both as single pilot as well as in two-crew environment). Approximately 30 months after starting your training, with about 1,000 hours, you will write the Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) exams SARON and SAMRA, do your final flight test, and 36 months from now you can be ready to go for your airline job!

Program includes:

  • PPL
  • Night Rating
  • Mountain Flying
  • CPL
  • Multi-Engine Rating
  • Multi-IFR Rating
  • Instructor Rating
  • Time building

  • ATPL exams preparation

But the ATPL is not all you obtain with this program! The list of mandatory training above earns you only 2600 out of the required 3000 credits for the Airline Pilot Diploma. The remaining credits are earned by choosing 4 out of almost 20 elective courses and options, examples of which include:

Professional Pilot Program Testimonials

Rashmi Limaye

I trained on the Seneca 5 in CFC. Its an excellent aircraft, and the state-of-the-art instrument panels were very impressive. But what made the training experience truly memorable was my instructor, Anna. Smart, vivacious and supremely confident as a pilot, Anna ensured the perfect blend of thrill and discipline. And of course to score a ride in the Sky Dancer, Anna's uber-cool aerobatic aircraft, is one of the most amazing experiences ever! I even got to attend one of her airshows!

The staff at CFC were friendly and ever helpful. Special regards to my examiner Peter. Overall a wonderful experience. Be it a joyride, recreational or professional training, I'd recommend an experience at cfc for anyone interested in flying.

Anna is very talented and responsible. Believe me, because I know her from school as her teacher. She is very demanding and above all to herself. In high school, where she studied, she has always set an example, because Anna was always the best.

I started flying with CFC in 2010 my instructors Jamie, Will and Brandon were amazing! Barbara the dispatcher was always willing and eager to help me with any paper work I needed even though I know I was a bit of a pain to deal with at times ;) Jerry I believe is still there and is great as well. The aircraft fleet is more diverse than anywhere else and in better condition than most.
